Job summary

Carat 55 is a boutique in Singapore's luxury scene, where you will create memorable experiences for clients from first visit to aftercare. Based at our boutique, you'll design bespoke pieces, guide customers, and collaborate with a passionate team to maintain a beautiful, welcoming space reflecting the Carat 55 experience.

The role requires jewellery design qualification, strong communication, English fluency, and proficiency in CAD and design software.

Qualifications

• Qualification as a Jewellery designer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English (written & spoken)
• Basic Photography skills
• Proficiency in design software; adobe
• Proficiency in Jewelry design software and techniques, (e.g CAD software, Procreate)
• Knowledge of gemology, including an understanding of gemstones, diamonds, and their grading

Responsibilities

• Design unique and bespoke jewellery pieces for in-house collections
• Design bespoke jewellery for Clients
• Manage the entire process from designing, customer presentation, CAD approval, selection of gemstones, to overseeing the manufacturing, delivery time and Q.C
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in selecting the perfect piece, offering expert advice, and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Manage customer customisation requests
• Assist Retail Boutique
• Administrative duties

Your Mission

Based at our boutique in the iconic Raffles Hotel Arcade, you'll create memorable experiences and build genuine connections with clients throughout their journey, from their first visit to post-purchase care. You'll work alongside a passionate team to achieve individual and boutique goals while helping maintain a beautiful, welcoming space that reflects the Carat 55 experience.
