Job summary

Luxoft, a leading technology provider, is hiring for an experienced Java/Kotlin backend engineer to join a team building a robust platform for end-to-end processing of structured products and equity derivatives.

The role focuses on designing and implementing highly available REST APIs, streaming and batch processing using the Spring ecosystem, with Kafka, MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Strong emphasis on clean code, TDD and CI/CD implementations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java & Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge on Equity derivatives.
• Experience in multi-tiered and distributed applications and service architectures.
• Good experience building RESTFUL web services and understanding of the REST architecture constraints.
• Working experiences in CI/CD.
• Build tools - Gradle/Maven.
• CI tools - Jenkins.
• Source Control - Bit Bucket /GitHub.
• End-to-end execution of development & release phases.
• Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design artifacts.
• Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.
• Review the design of existing applications and provide recommendations to increase the system's robustness/scalability/performance/maintainability.
• Participate in code review activities and ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Our client(One of the largest investment banks in Southeast Asia) is building a platform for end-to-end processing of Structured products with current focus on Equity derivatives. Primary objective is to build a robust platform which caters to the existing pain points without compromising on the required efficiencies .

Responsibilities:

• Individual contributor and ability to demonstrate advanced software coding skills, a solid grasp of software architecture and object oriented design concepts and design patterns
• Successful candidate will drive the implementation, experimentation of new solution/application initiatives. Looking for one who loves clean code and test driven development (TDD)
• End to end development of highly available REST API, streaming and batch applications using Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Integration, MVC, Security, Data, Batch etc), Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.
