Luxoft Information Technology Singapore is seeking a senior Java/Kotlin Software Engineer for an investment bank project in Southeast Asia, focusing on end-to-end processing platform for structured products.

You will contribute individually, implement new initiatives, and develop highly available REST APIs, streaming and batch applications using Java, Spring, Kafka, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, with emphasis on clean code and TDD.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of multi-tier distributed architectures.
• Experience building RESTful services and API design.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute as an individual contributor with advanced coding skills.
• Drive implementation and experimentation of new solution initiatives.

About the Company

Project Description:Our client(One of the largest investment banks in Southeast Asia) is building a platform for end-to-end processing of Structured products with current focus on Equity derivatives. Primary objective is to build a robust platform which caters to the existing pain points without compromising on the required efficiencies .

About the Role

The role involves individual contribution with advanced software coding skills, driving implementation and experimentation of new solution/application initiatives, and end to end development of highly available REST API, streaming and batch applications using Java and Spring ecosystem, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.

Responsibilities

• Individual contributor and ability to demonstrate advanced software coding skills, a solid grasp of software architecture and object oriented design concepts and design patterns
• Successful candidate will drive the implementation, experimentation of new solution/application initiatives. Looking for one who loves clean code and test driven development (TDD)
• End to end development of highly available REST API, streaming and batch applications using Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Integration, MVC, Security, Data, Batch etc), Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.
• Effective end-to-end execution of development & release phases
• Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design artifacts
• Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources
• Review the design of existing applications and provide recommendations to increase the system's robustness/scalability/performance/maintainability
• Participate in code review activities and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Overall 8+ years of experience in Java & Kotlin

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge on Equity derivatives
• Experience in multi-tiered and distributed applications and service architectures
• Good experience building RESTFUL web services and understanding of the REST architecture constraints
• Working experiences in CI/CD - Build tools - Gradle/Maven - Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins - Source Control - Bit Bucket /GitHub

• Good communications skills, with crisp and concise communication and the ability to articulate technical topics with ease
