Job summary

Luxoft Information Technology Singapore is seeking a senior Java/Kotlin Software Engineer for an investment bank project in Southeast Asia, focusing on end-to-end processing platform for structured products.

You will contribute individually, implement new initiatives, and develop highly available REST APIs, streaming and batch applications using Java, Spring, Kafka, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, with emphasis on clean code and TDD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of multi-tier distributed architectures.
• Experience building RESTful services and API design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as an individual contributor with advanced coding skills.
• Drive implementation and experimentation of new solution initiatives.
• Develop end-to-end REST API, streaming and batch apps using Java/Spring, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Ensure robust end-to-end development and release processes.
• Translate system requirements into design artifacts.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external tech teams.
• Review existing designs to improve robustness, scalability and performance.
