Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Java/J2EE specialist to lead large-scale enterprise projects as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead. You will architect and guide backend systems, ensuring scalability and security across complex deliveries.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, RESTful APIs, and secure design, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and at least 5 years in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and RESTful APIs, with hands-on backend design experience.
• Proven knowledge of databases, security, and DevOps practices including SQL/NoSQL, CI/CD, OAuth2, JWT, performance tuning, and secure design.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills with mentoring experience and delivering projects in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience in design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support to ensure quality, reliability, and Maintainability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with testing and quality tools including JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, Git, and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions across large-scale enterprise projects.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams; partner with stakeholders to deliver on business goals.

Job description

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE(8/11/17/21) development, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience designing scalable and high-performance backend systems
• Strong knowledge of databases, security, and DevOps practices, including SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, OAuth2, JWT, performance tuning, and secure application design
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience mentoring engineering teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering projects in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support, ensuring solution quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams
