Job summary

re-zoo-me in Singapore seeks a Senior Java Leader to architect and deliver large-scale enterprise applications. You will shape technical strategy, guide engineering teams, and own critical decisions across backend systems.

You bring 12+ years of Java/J2EE experience, deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, REST, and security. You will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure quality through code reviews, testing, and production support, and mentor engineers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience designing scalable and high-performance backend systems.
• Deep knowledge of databases, security, and DevOps practices, including SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, OAuth2, JWT, performance tuning, and secure application design.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience mentoring engineering teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering projects in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support, ensuring solution quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with testing and quality engineering tools, including JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, Git, and modern software development best practices.

Responsibilities
