Job summary

Genic Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive sales and business development professional to strengthen our Japanese customer base in Singapore and to expand new local opportunities for GENIC’s precision plastic and metal manufacturing capabilities.

You will maintain relationships with Japanese clients, identify growth opportunities, and develop new customers in Singapore, while coordinating with Engineering, Production and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Japanese language proficiency is required to communicate with key customers.
• Mandarin language proficiency is required for coordination with GENIC Group and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing Japanese customers, supporting ongoing projects, enquiries and orders.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing Japanese accounts, including repeat orders, new projects and additional business opportunities.
• Develop new customers and business opportunities in Singapore, focusing on GENIC’s precision plastic and metal manufacturing capabilities.
• Proactively identify potential local customers, industries and applications that match GENIC’s manufacturing capabilities.
• Understand customer requirements, drawings and specifications, and work with Engineering, Production and Quality to propose suitable solutions.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, samples and projects and drive opportunities toward order conversion.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Build strong business relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Prepare sales reports and business development updates for management.
• Travel locally and overseas when required for customer meetings, exhibitions and business development activities.
