Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is hiring for a Retail Operations Supervisor to manage inventories, lead a team of Retail Promoters, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment in Singapore.

You will oversee POS transactions, staffing rosters, and communicate operational updates while delivering high standards of service and product knowledge. The role requires rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations, preferably in supervisory or team leadership.
• Fluent in Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in F&B or retail operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandise displays to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast inventory requirements to support business operations.
• Operate and oversee POS transactions, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Retail Promoters to achieve operational and service excellence.
• Prepare and maintain duty rosters to ensure adequate staffing and smooth daily operations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate operational updates to the team.
• Demonstrate strong customer service, product knowledge, selling techniques, and cashiering best practices.
• Review and improve inventory management processes and procedures.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Support retail operations through attendance at meetings and completion of assigned operational tasks.
• Work according to rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
