Job summary

Jointhire Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a senior leader to drive sales and corporate functions in Singapore. You will develop strategic plans for logistics services, oversee P&L, and coordinate with Japan HQ and overseas offices to align goals and execute initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-border experience, and proficiency in Japanese. You will lead IT-enabled improvements and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering measurable business growth.

Qualifications

• At least 9–10 years in logistics or freight forwarding with proven sales and corporate leadership.
• Experience in a Japanese company environment is preferred.
• Regional exposure including Singapore/SEA and overseas markets; cross-border operations.
• Business-level Japanese to liaise with Japanese stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and corporate functions in Singapore to drive growth and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute customized business and sales strategies for logistics services to grow revenue.
• Oversee full P&L responsibilities including budgeting and performance monitoring.
• Lead and coordinate multiple departments to enhance teamwork and performance.
• Align strategies and report progress by coordinating with Japan Headquarters and overseas offices.
• Drive operational improvements via digitalization and IT initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and local regulations.
• Handle other ad hoc duties/projects as assigned by the company.
