Job summary

Les Amis Group in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Chef de Partie in a Japanese restaurant. You will prepare ingredients, maintain hygiene, and help ensure high quality and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include ingredient prep at the designated station, washing and cutting, adhering to food safety standards, knife skills, and contributing to teamwork to deliver consistent dining experiences. Minimum 4 hours per day, 3–5 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Basic knife skills and knowledge of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie at the designated station to support kitchen operations
• Wash and cut ingredients accurately for cooking readiness
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation per food safety rules
• Apply safe knife skills to prepare ingredients efficiently
• Deliver food that meets quality and presentation standards
• Demonstrate positive energy and teamwork in the kitchen
• Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflow
• Commit to working a minimum of 4 hours a day, 3-5 days a week
