Job summary

Thales Avionics, Inc. (AGS) in Singapore seeks a VVQ Test Engineer to drive test planning, design, execution and automation across FAT, SIT, E2E and UAT, ensuring traceability to requirements and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with software developers and project stakeholders, maintain test documentation, and support on-site UAT, with exposure to JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, Postman and Selenium.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in client-facing activities, system integration testing or UAT.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC and: Waterfall, V-Model, Agile.
• Working knowledge of testing tools (JIRA, Confluence, Polarion) and API/messaging tech.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Unix/Linux, Windows Server; MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Experience with test automation or performance testing tools is a plus.
• Demonstrates accountability, adaptability and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements to develop test specs for FAT, SIT, E2E, UAT and regression testing.
• Establish requirements traceability matrices ensuring coverage and alignment.
• Participate in all STLC phases from planning to closure.
• Coordinate with external interface stakeholders for integration tests.
• Perform VERIFICATION/VALIDATION and defect investigation with retesting and closure.
• Monitor progress, track issues/risks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation including cases, results and logs.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve software quality.
• Support on-site UAT and knowledge sharing with peers.
