Job summary

Thales Group in Singapore is hiring a VVQ Test Engineer responsible for test planning, design, execution, integration, automation, defect management and requirements traceability to ensure software quality and timely delivery across project testing phases.

You will analyze requirements for FAT, SIT, E2E, UAT, and regression testing; maintain traceability matrices; participate in STLC phases; coordinate with external stakeholders; support on-site UAT and share knowledge with fellow engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of client-facing testing experience.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC and software development methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile).

Responsibilities

• Analyse business, system and software requirements to develop test specifications for FAT, offline validation, SIT, E2E, UAT and regression testing.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability matrices for coverage.
• Participate in all STLC phases: planning, analysis, design, execution and closure.
• Coordinate with external interface stakeholders for integration test deliverables.
• Perform verification, validation and qualification activities through manual and automated testing.
• Monitor progress, track issues/risks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation with evidence.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve quality.
• Support on-site UAT and share knowledge with fellow test engineers.
• Undertake other testing-related responsibilities as assigned.
