Job summary

Pathlight School, in partnership with Digital Academy (DA), seeks an engaging IT Trainer to design and deliver ICT courses for learners, educators and staff, using blended learning approaches.

You will work with a small development team to create materials, maintain websites, and ensure outcomes are reflected in portfolios and reports, while upholding school policies and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Relevant education qualification(s) in IT or related discipline.
• Prior direct working experience in conducting ICT training for different groups of learners.
• A keen interest in imparting ICT knowledge and learning and in adopting the best educational approach to maximise learners’ outcomes.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualising, developing and conducting ICT training courses across multiple technical and creative domains for learners, educators and staff.
• Producing interactive and self-study materials to fuel blended learning.
• Communicating learners’ ICT outcomes via portfolios and assessment reports.
• Contributing to a small development team on projects to build clickable prototypes using design thinking.
• Helping maintain and improve Pathlight School websites and online presence.
• Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and SOPs and contributing to department KPIs.
• Providing regular status updates on projects and duties.
• Carrying out ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.

The team at Digital Academy (DA) offers relevant and meaningful Information Technology (IT) & Design courses to all students in Pathlight School. As an IT Trainer, your Impact and Contribution includes:

• Conceptualising, Developing and conducting outcomes driven ICT Training courses across multiple technical & creative domains for our learners, educators and all other staff.
• Work with other educators and course developers to produce interactive and self-study materials fueling our drive towards blended learning.
• Communicate our learners’ outcomes in ICT via their work/portfolio and written assessment reports via platforms and tools adopted by the School.
• Contribute to a small development team in projects, building clickable working prototypes with your empathetic design thinking expertise.
• Work with the team to help maintain and improve our websites and web presence.
• Ensure compliance to organizational policies and SOPs and contribute proactively to meeting the department goals and KPIs.
• Provide regular updates on status reports on projects and duties
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by your Supervisor

Requirements:

• Relevant education qualification(s) in IT or related discipline
• Prior direct working experience in conducting ICT training for different groups of learners
• Possess a keen interest in imparting ICT knowledge and learning and are always learning and adopting the best educational approach to maximise learners’ outcomes
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills
