Job summary

JK TECHNOLOGY PTE LTD is seeking a site operations technician to support IT hardware logistics across Singapore. You will liaise with the IT Coordinator to ensure smooth site activities, verify peripherals at customer sites, and maintain accurate equipment records.

You will pack returned equipment, report discrepancies, ensure IT security compliance, assist in transportation, and supervise part-timers and interns.

Qualifications

• Nitec in Information Technology or equivalent required.
• Basic IT hardware knowledge welcome.
• Independent and meticulous work style.
• Strong communication and user interaction skills.
• Willing to travel across Singapore per deployment schedule.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the IT Coordinator to ensure smooth site activities.
• Verify and check IT peripherals for faults at customer sites.
• Maintain documentation of equipment status and serial numbers.
• Report discrepancies or damages in returned equipment.
• Pack and prepare returned equipment for delivery to the main office.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and data handling policies.
• Support logistics coordination, including transportation of equipment.
• Supervise and guide part-timers and interns in daily tasks.

• Perform verification and check for any faults on IT peripherals at customer sites.

• Maintain proper documentation of equipment status and their serial numbers.

• Report discrepancies or damages in returned equipment.

• Pack and prepare returned equipment for delivery back to the main office.

• Ensure compliance with company IT security and data handling policies during all tasks.

• Support logistics coordination, including arranging and assisting in transportation of equipment if required.

• Supervise and guide part-timers and interns in daily operational tasks.

Requirements

• Nitec in Information Technology (or equivalent).

• Candidates with basic IT hardware knowledge are welcome to apply.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with users.

• Willing to travel as working locations are based on deployment schedule (Possible all around Singapore).
