SIMBA TELECOM PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT systems engineer to manage and maintain Linux-based servers, ensuring high availability and security. The role includes overseeing virtualization (VMware, FusionCompute, KVM), configuring network devices, and implementing security controls.

The candidate will monitor performance, support data center operations, and work with IT teams on system upgrades while documenting configurations and procedures.

Formación

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of IT systems engineering experience, focused on Linux environments.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA or LPIC are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including switching, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, FusionCompute or KVM.
• Familiarity with data center operations and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
