Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT System/Business Analyst to optimize business processes and IT systems. You will analyze, design, and implement technology solutions that support core objectives, and engage stakeholders to gather and document requirements.

Responsibilities include backlog management, SDLC and testing practices, automating test scripts with Tosca, validating enhancements, tracking defects, and reporting progress to project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as business analyst or equivalent in Agile projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, IT, analytics or related discipline preferred.
• Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management to provide project updates.
• Experience coordinating projects with vendors and internal teams; SDLC knowledge.
• Experience using automation tools to design and execute automated test scripts.

• Identify system enhancement opportunities and translate business needs into BE / FE requirements.
• Review implementation plans, manage product backlogs, and collaborate with stakeholders & ICT providers.

• Validate enhancements against expectations, track defects, and ensure delivery per policies.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, backlog status, system enhancements, defects, and issues.

We are looking for an experienced IT System/Business Analyst to join our team and drive the optimization of our business processes and IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that support core business objectives.

• Engage stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identifysystemenhancement opportunities and translatingbusinessneeds intobusinessrequirement documents.
• Review implementation plans, manage application product backlogs, and collaborate withbusinessstakeholders, external parties, and ICT providers for operational, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts such as using Tricentis Tosca for functional and regression testing across frontend, backend, and integration workflows;
• Validatesystemenhancements againstbusinessexpectations, track and manage defects from creation to closure, and ensure project delivery compliance with relevant policies and guidelines; and
• Provide regular updates on testing/work progress, backlog status,systemenhancements, defects, and operational issues to project stakeholder.

• Performing tasks including project coordination & monitoring, asset management, resource tracking, meeting logistics, service/change request processing, records/document management, etc, for projects with vendors and internal teams.
• Perform requirement gathering, requirement analysis,businessprocess mapping, design thinking, prepare requirement specifications, flow charts, logical diagrams, initiate process improvements and testing.
• Experienced in driving product development through Agile methodologies, leveraging Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing practices to iteratively deliver, validate and enhance product outcome; and
• Experienced in using automation tools for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts across functional and regression testing.
