Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Systems Officer to provide professional support and administration for the Microsoft 365 cloud environment and related IT infrastructure in Singapore.

You will design, deploy and maintain 365 solutions to meet business needs, and deliver Level 1 & 2 support including remote assistance. The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft InTune and Defender, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel overseas for ad hoc IT

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• More than 3 years of Level 1/2 IT support in a medium-sized or large enterprise.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft InTune and Microsoft Defender.
• Strong customer service, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide after-hours standby and travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Independently research, design, develop and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions that support business and operational requirements.
• Administer the Microsoft 365 environment to maintain service availability, reliability, security and performance.
• Configure, support and maintain Microsoft InTune and Defender in line with organisational needs.
• Provide Level 1 and 2 help desk support, including remote assistance and troubleshooting.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend standby support roster when required.
• Monitor system health and test systems to identify performance, availability and security issues.
• Plan and coordinate deployment and lifecycle management of IT hardware.
• Perform and verify system updates, backups and restorations as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve system functionality and user experience.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding for new hires and departing employees.
• Create and maintain configuration records, SOPs, process docs and end-user guides.
• Provide high-quality technical support and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, onsite and remotely, including onboard vessels.
• Travel overseas when operationally required for ad hoc IT support.
• Support IT procurement activities including sourcing, vendor coordination, quotations and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories.
• Complete and document daily, monthly and annual IT operational checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently research,design, develop and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions that support business and operational requirements.
• Administer the Microsoft 365 environment to maintain service availability, reliability, security and performance.
• Configure, support and maintain Microsoft In tune and Microsoft Defender capabilities in accordance with organisational requirements.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 help desk support, including remote assistance and troubleshooting.
• Participate in an after-hours and weekend standby support roster, where required.
• Monitor system health and regularly review, analyse and test systems to identify performance,availability and security issues.
• Plan and coordinate the deployment, replacement and lifecycle management of IT hardware.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• More than 3 years of experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support in a medium-sized or large enterprise environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft In tune and Microsoft Defender.
• Strong customer service, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• At least two years of technical exposure of supporting network and firewall solutions in a small or medium-sized enterprise environment.
• Willingness to provide after-hours standby support and travel overseas when operationally required.
