Job summary

Computer Network Technologies Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our support team in Toa Payoh Central.

You will provide first- and second-line technical support to clients and internal users, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and maintain documentation and service quality. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, remote support, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of IT support experience.
• Proficient with Windows and/macOS, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiar with IT ticketing systems and knowledge management tools.
• Experience with remote support tools and remote desktop applications.
• Certs such as CompTIA A+/Network+ or MCA are desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, OS, and software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls per security policies.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, patches, and virus scans.
• Document issues, solutions, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Provide user training on IT systems, applications, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with IT team to resolve complex issues and implement improvements.
• Monitor IT infrastructure to identify problems and implement preventative measures.
• Assist with IT asset management and lifecycle management.
