Job summary

Singapore Management University is seeking a Procurement Analyst for the Office of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS) to manage end-to-end sourcing in the e-Procurement system, coordinate tendering, and issue POs. The role also focuses on analytics, dashboards, and supplier performance to drive procurement excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT with at least 2 years of relevant Procurement experience.
• Degree holders with analytics, reporting and system support/troubleshooting experience will be considered.
• Experience with SAP Ariba e-Procurement or SAP ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience using Power BI and low-code tools is preferred.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end sourcing activities within e-Procurement for assigned categories, including ITQ/ITTs, negotiations, awards and PO issuance.
• Solicit information from project teams to prepare tender documents and manage multi-year contracts in the e-Procurement system.
• Provide advisory support to internal stakeholders and vendors on procurement processes and terms with SMU Legal alignment.
• Support peak periods such as fiscal year closing and blackout periods.
• Procurement data analytics and reporting: collect data, build dashboards, monitor KPIs and supplier performance.
• Support e-Procurement system troubleshooting and UAT for enhancements and changes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes through automation and improved workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
