Job summary

CIMB Singapore is seeking a Data Centre Operations professional to monitor automated tasks, run batch jobs, and manage backup media in the CIMB SG Data Centre. The role requires ensuring system availability, handling security-related escalations, and providing after-hours helpdesk support.

You will also manage password and keypress systems and participate in release management with Aldon LMI/LME, supporting IT Operations with attention to security, accuracy, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in IT or relevant certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years working experience in Data Centre operation or application jobs processing.
• IT Operations and Data Centre processes.
• IT system alert monitoring & escalation, batch job handling, tape management.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring of automated task/job scheduler via Control M.
• Run manual batch jobs according to schedule or ad hoc requests.
• Backup media handling including mounting and retrieving from media library.
• Maintain catalog of backup media in CIMB SG Data Centre.
• Monitor Data Centre CCTV and escalate unauthorized entry.
• Monitor servers, network and application availability; escalate alerts.
• Monitor email alerts and escalate to relevant support.
• Ensure security and safety issues of the Data Centre are escalated.
• Provide after-office hours and non-working day helpdesk support.
• Provide split password management services.
• Manage electronic Keypress and CCTC systems.
• Carry out release management task using Aldon LMI/LME.

• Backup media handling which include mounting and retrieving from media library, sending and receiving backup media to and from offsite storage
• Maintain catalog of backup media in CIMB SG Data Centre
