Job summary

Avani Singapore is opening a new era of stylish hospitality. We seek an experienced IT Manager to lead the hotel’s technology function from pre-opening through ongoing operations.

You will partner with engineering, corporate IT, vendors and leadership to ensure all platforms, infrastructure and systems are fully operational and secure. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hotel IT, strong Opera PMS and systems knowledge, and proven project management, vendor relations and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in hotel IT operations or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS, hospitality systems, networks, hardware, software, databases and integrations.
• Experience managing technology projects, system implementations and vendor relationships.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is strongly preferred.
• Project management, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of Singapore data protection, cybersecurity and tech compliance is advantageous.
• IT leadership experience in Singapore hospitality is beneficial.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT pre-opening workstream including infrastructure setup and launch planning.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, integration and handover of hotel tech systems.
• Collaborate with Corporate IT, vendors and project teams to ensure readiness.
• Oversee administration, maintenance and optimization of Opera PMS and core systems.
• Support smart hotel technologies and digital solutions for ops efficiency.
• Coordinate upgrades, software enhancements and issue resolution with vendors.
• Ensure technology security, data protection and compliance.
• Provide training and support to hotel teams across departments.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
