Job summary

Avani Singapore seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead the hotel's technology function through pre-opening and beyond. You will work closely with the Director of Engineering, Corporate IT, vendors and leadership to ensure all platforms and systems are secure and ready for guests and team members.

Responsibilities include overseeing setup, system handover, operations, and support; strong project management, stakeholder communication, and Opera PMS expertise are essential for a successful opening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field is required.
• 5+ years in hotel IT operations with leadership responsibilities is expected.
• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS and hospitality systems, networks, and data security.
• Experience managing IT projects, system implementations, and vendor relationships.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore data protection and cybersecurity regulations is advantageous.
• Fluent English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT pre-opening workstream, overseeing infrastructure setup and systems implementation.
• Coordinate installation, integration, and handover of hotel technology systems (Opera PMS, POS, telephony, Wi-Fi).
• Collaborate with Corporate IT, vendors, and project teams to ensure readiness for opening.
• Oversee administration, maintenance, and optimization of core hotel systems and security.
• Provide training and support to hotel teams across departments.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
