Job summary

Avani Singapore is opening a new Food & Beverage leadership role to guide early operations and ongoing dining excellence. You will lead pre-opening workstreams and oversee all restaurants, bars, and in-room dining with a focus on guest experience and commercial performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in F&B leadership within international brands, strong budget control, and a passion for service excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Food & Beverage leadership within international brands.
• Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, banquet, and in-room dining operations.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing Food & Beverage teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and cost controls.
• Previous pre-opening hotel experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's dining scene, guest expectations, and emerging trends.
• Previous F&B leadership in Singapore hospitality would be advantageous.
• Passion for service excellence, team development, and guest experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Lead the Food & Beverage pre-opening workstream, including outlet setup, team mobilisation, SOPs, service standards and training.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of all restaurants, bars, in-room dining and banquet operations.
• Collaborate with Director of Culinary to create fresh menu concepts and a playful, personality-led service style.
• Build restaurants/bars that Singapore talks about and wants to revisit.
• Bring venues to life with music, atmosphere, service rituals, storytelling and Avani personality.
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing F&B teams while fostering a strong service culture.
• Drive quality standards and commercial performance across dining outlets.
• Manage labour, expenses, productivity and financial controls.
• Deliver revenue-driving promotions, events and partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, guest preferences and competitor activity to stay relevant.
• Ensure hygiene, safety and brand standards across all outlets.

We're looking for an energetic, commercially minded, and guest-focused Food & Beverage Manager to support the successful opening and ongoing operation of the hotel's restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and events business. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team development, and commercial performance across all food and beverage outlets.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Food & Beverage pre-opening workstream, including outlet setup, team mobilization, SOP implementation, service standards, training, and operational readiness
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of all restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banquet operations
• Work closely with the Director of Culinary to create fresh, exciting menu concepts and a playful, personality-led service style that brings the Avani experience to life.
• Help create restaurants and bars that Singapore wants to talk about, return to and recommend, with the ambition to become recognised among the city’s most exciting dining experiences.
• Bring each venue to life as a complete experience, connecting great food and drinks with music, atmosphere, service rituals, storytelling and genuine Avani personality.
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing Food & Beverage teams while fostering a strong service culture
• Drive quality standards and commercial performance across all dining venues
• Manage labor, expenses, productivity, and operational controls to achieve financial targets
• Deliver revenue-driving promotions, events, and partnerships
• Monitor market trends, guest preferences, and competitor activity to ensure the hotel's dining experiences remain relevant and commercially successful
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and brand standards across all outlets

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Food & Beverage leadership within international hospitality brands
• Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, banquet, and in-room dining operations
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing Food & Beverage teams
