Infrastructure Operations Lead
, you will serve as the senior technical authority accountable for all infrastructure operations across international markets, owning the operating model, governance, reliability outcomes, and capability development end-to-end. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic direction with hands-on technical engagement - ideal for a seasoned infrastructure leader who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and wants to shape infrastructure capability at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Infrastructure Operations capability, including service boundaries, operating standards, governance frameworks, and the multi-year infrastructure roadmap across internal, regional, and partner teams
- Define and govern infrastructure architecture, deployment patterns, lifecycle roadmaps, and modernisation priorities across virtualised, cloud, and customer-hosted environments - ensuring platforms remain secure, resilient, and operationally sustainable
- Lead major infrastructure incidents and cross-domain diagnostics; drive root-cause analysis and systemic remediation through to sustained closure
- Identify material infrastructure risks proactively and provide structured recommendations, evidence-based options, and accountable ownership plans to technical and management stakeholders
- Establish engineering standards, configuration baselines, change controls, and operational validation requirements; drive infrastructure-as-code, version-controlled configuration, and progressively automated operational patterns
- Build organisational infrastructure capability through coaching, technical reviews, reusable standards, and knowledge transfer - converting person-dependent practices into sustainable, team-owned capability
- Represent infrastructure operations in architecture, security, risk, and delivery forums, influencing Product Engineering, Cyber Security, Project Delivery, regional operations, and vendors through technical credibility
- Drive standardisation and technical-debt reduction while balancing reliability, regional constraints, scalability, and cost across cloud, compute, networking, and shared infrastructure services
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in production infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations, with demonstrated ownership of business-critical environments
- Proven track record leading an infrastructure domain or technical capability across complex, multi-region or global environments, including defining operating models, governance frameworks, and lifecycle roadmaps
- Strong practical experience with public cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and virtualised environments, alongside solid foundations in operating systems, networking, resilience, security controls, and lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with automation tooling such as scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), or configuration-management frameworks(experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Git-based workflows is a bonus)
- Demonstrated ability to assess infrastructure architecture for deployment supportability, operational risk, and production readiness, and to influence cross-functional stakeholders and vendors without direct line authority
- Experience with enterprise-grade capabilities such as PKI, certificate management, DNS, firewall, WAF, observability platforms, or cloud image management(is a bonus)
