Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or operations.
• Experience owning infrastructure operations across multiple regions.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP, servers, OS, networking and security.
• IaC and automation experience required; Terraform/Ansible a plus.
• Knowledge of DNS, firewalls, DR, monitoring tools; Mandarin is an advantage.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Cybersecurity, regional IT teams, and external providers.
• Report on performance, risks, and improvements to senior management.

Our client is a global technology company operating mission-critical SaaS platforms across multiple regions. The Infrastructure Operations Lead will oversee global infrastructure reliability, architecture, governance, and modernisation across cloud, virtualised, and customer-hosted environments. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with functional leadership to ensure infrastructure remains secure, scalable, and highly available.

Job Responsibilities

• Own global infrastructure operations across cloud, virtualised, and customer-hosted environments.
• Define infrastructure architecture, operational standards, governance, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Ensure high availability, system reliability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and incident management.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), scripting, and configuration management tools.
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks, technical debt, and security vulnerabilities.
• Establish standardised processes, documentation, and knowledge‑sharing practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Cybersecurity, regional IT teams, and external service providers.
• Report on infrastructure performance, operational risks, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Proven experience owning infrastructure operations or leading a technical function across multiple regions.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as servers, operating systems, networking, and security.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Git-based workflows is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DNS, firewalls, WAF, PKI, certificates, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools is a plus.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for working with Chinese‑speaking stakeholders.
