Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Network & Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructures for client projects. You will lead full lifecycle deployments, including firewall configurations and data centre activities, ensuring secure, compliant operations.

The role requires 5 years of hands-on networking experience, strong knowledge of major firewall technologies, virtualization skills, and excellent documentation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, implementation, and deployment projects.
• Strong working knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point) — configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in infrastructure deployment, migration and technology refresh.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and WAN/LAN environments for client projects.
• Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of network solutions, from planning and staging through to go-live and post-deployment support.
• Configure, deploy, and manage firewall solutions to meet client security and compliance requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation for network and security-related incidents.
• Support and execute data centre projects, including rack/stack, cabling, equipment installation, and infrastructure migrations.
• Work with multi-vendor networking and security environments across client sites.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to support client infrastructure environments.
• Administer and support Linux and Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and integration with broader network infrastructure.
• Produce clear, accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration records, migration plans, and user acceptance testing (UAT) documents.
• Lead or support project delivery, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders on project status, technical issues, and solution recommendations.

• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
