Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and manage enterprise infrastructure operations in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience across virtualisation, operating systems, storage, backup, networking, and related infrastructure platforms.This role also requires experience working with vendor-supported operating models, managing external support teams, and contributing to technical troubleshooting, governance, and project delivery.

• Good to havedata centre operations experience.
• Strong communication and coordinationskills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with infrastructure platforms such asVMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
• Experience withRed Hat Linux and/or Windows Serverenvironments.
• Familiarity with enterprisestorage,backup, HA, and DRsolutions.
• Strong understanding ofmonitoring,observability, logging, and alertingpractices.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as:
  • TCP/IP
  • DNS
  • Routing
  • Firewalls
  • Load balancing
  • Segmentation
• Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments, includingAWS or Azure.

Desired Technical Skills

• Experience with automation tools such asAnsible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such asPython, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration platforms such asDocker or Kubernetes.
• Experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)for automated provisioning and configuration.

Qualifications
