Job summary

Intersoftkk (S) Pte. Ltd. is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support IT infrastructure across manufacturing sites in Singapore, including networks, servers and related systems.

You will deliver infrastructure projects, monitor data centre operations and ensure high availability. The role requires 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience, knowledge of IT/OT architecture, and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper, Palo Alto, Nutanix and Azure Stack, plus cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT Infrastructure experience including design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support IT infrastructure across manufacturing sites.
• Support delivery of IT infrastructure solutions and projects, including network upgrades and server deployment.
• Monitor and maintain computer rooms, network devices, servers and backend infrastructure for availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Ensure IT infrastructure projects comply with DTMS processes and GMP/ITMS requirements.
• Provide IT infrastructure support across GSK sites and offices in Singapore.
• Collaborate with site-level, regional and global technology teams for effective deployment.
• Participate in incident and problem management, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure and network issues.

IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

1. Manage and support IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and related systems across manufacturing sites.

2. Support the delivery of IT infrastructure solutions and projects, including network/wireless upgrades, server deployment, infrastructure refreshes, and related initiatives.

3. Monitor and maintain computer rooms, network devices, servers, and backend infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, performance, and reliability.

4. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related incidents.

5. Ensure all IT infrastructure projects and operational activities comply with the DTMS (Digital & Technology Management System) processes and standards.

6. Provide IT infrastructure support across GSK sites and offices in Singapore.

7. Liaise with site-level, regional, and global technology teams to ensure systems, services, and technology initiatives are deployed effectively.

8. Participate in incident management, problem management, infrastructure maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

9. Provide technical support and collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure and network issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems, networking, design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

3. Good working knowledge of IT/OT architecture, networking, switching, and routing, including:

   • LAN / WAN

   • SD-WAN

   • VPN

   • Wireless

   • Firewalls

   • TCP/IP

4. Good working knowledge of:

   • Microsoft Windows Server

   • Active Directory (AD)

   • DNS

   • DHCP

   • TCP/IP

   • VoIP

5. Hands-on experience with technologies such as:

   • Cisco

   • Juniper

   • Palo Alto Panorama

   • Nutanix

   • Azure Stack

   • Cloud technologies

6. Experience in computer room/data centre operations, maintenance, monitoring, and infrastructure management.

7. Familiarity with structured network cabling and fibre-optic connectivity.

8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including responding to ad‑hoc requests and infrastructure incidents.

9. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multiple technical support teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues.

10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving complex network, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.

11. Good technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and stakeholders at different organizational levels and across different functional areas.

13. Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, learn new technologies, and be resourceful in resolving technical issues.

14. Able to work with minimal supervision and independently plan and manage assigned activities to meet objectives and deadlines.

15. Knowledge and understanding of ITSM/ITMS processes and GMP requirements within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

16. Relevant industry certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure, such as CCNA, CISSP, Azure, or equivalent, will be an added advantage.
