LAM RESEARCH Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead enterprise network design, deployment, and optimization across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD‑WAN environments. You will implement and troubleshoot Cisco and F5 platforms, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability while coordinating with global teams on migrations.
The role requires a strong foundation in OSI model, extensive hands-on experience with DNS/HTTP/SSL and VPN technologies, and CCNP-level certification.
Understand technical requirements from business and develop appropriate network solutions & proposals and act as the primary point of contact for network project rollout & execution plan, prioritize & execute multiple network build and transformation projects ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope & aligned with business objectives. Design, configure & deploy enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD‑WAN environments. Implement & troubleshoot network technologies (DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1X, DMVPN, TACACS+, RADIUS & VPN solutions). Support load balancing, WAN optimization & secure access architectures (SSL VPN, Zero Trust, etc). Work on installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Cisco (Nexus, Catalyst, WLC, ISE) & F5 platforms. Provide detailed documentation for all implemented solutions & project activities, train & enable operation teams on newly deployed solutions to ensure smooth handover & support continuity. Collaborate with global teams to support migrations during non‑business hours where required. Monitor & assess network performance, identifying opportunities to improve overall network health & efficiency, recommend & implement enhancements to optimize scalability, reliability & security. Evaluate emerging technologies & platforms to ensure alignment with business needs & future roadmap. Work effectively with cross‑functional teams, vendors & stakeholders to ensure constant communication to provide project updates & technical guidance. Take on ad‑hoc duties as and when assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of the OSI model and core networking principles. Experience with enterprise network environments including LAN, WAN, and WLAN. Hands‑on experience with networking protocols and technologies such as DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1X, DMVPN, TACACS+, RADIUS, SD‑WAN, WAN optimization, SSL VPN and network security solutions. Proven experience with Cisco networking products (Nexus, Catalyst, Routers, WLC, ISE), F5 load balancer configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
