Job summary

Exasoft Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Network Engineer to manage Day 2 lifecycle operations across Cisco ACI/Nexus 9000, DNAC, ISE, and Catalyst series. You will oversee data center and enterprise routing and switching, ensuring uptime and performance.

The role requires a 10-year track record in network engineering, strong ITSM process experience, and hands-on skills with FTD/ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point, and F5 load balancers, plus Wireshark for troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 10 years of experience in network engineering (data center and enterprise environments).
• Experience with ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (OSI, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN concepts).
• Hands-on experience in routing and switching: OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP.
• Experience with Cisco technologies: Nexus 9000 (NX-OS & ACI), VXLAN, vPC, Catalyst 9000, Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless (9800 WLC).
• Experience with network security solutions: Cisco FTD/ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point.
• Strong knowledge of VPNs, GRE, DMZ, and 802.1X.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancing (LTM, GTM, APM).
• Experience using packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal utilization and availability.
• Perform incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Execute change and release activities in alignment with ITSM processes.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment and mitigation planning for network and security infrastructure.
• Support system integration and solution deployment.
• Handle stakeholder communication, inventory, and operational responsibilities as needed.
