Job summary

A leading HR solutions provider in Singapore is looking for an IT Support Specialist to maintain and support IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include setting up networks, troubleshooting IT issues, and performing system administration. Candidates should have a Higher NITEC in IT or equivalent, along with 3 years' experience in IT systems support. Good communication and teamwork skills are required. The position is a 1-2 year contract with a salary range of $2,400 to $2,800 plus variable bonus.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience in IT systems and Network Infrastructure setup and support.
• Experience on Avaya Phone System is an advantage.
• Familiar with HR, Finance, Administration, and Call Centre Operation.

Job Descriptions

• Set up and maintain IT Infrastrucutre including the network, servers, system/network integration. IT and Admin Support and troubleshoot any IT related issues that may arise.
• Provide support on Internet, LAN, WAN, VLAN, WLAN, Firewall, VPN, SFTP, Endpoint protect system configuration setup, backup and administration.
• Standard Client system setup, patching, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Perform Active Directory domain and GPO system administration.
• Perform IT Assets management, IT procurement administration, and maintenance contract management.
• Able to liaise and work with vendors and customer for the delivery and support.
• Assist in IT system disaster recovery planning and activation.
• Provide system documentation on deployment, changes and upgrade of systems.
• Conduct end user training / briefing.

Period

• 1 – 2 Years Contract (renewable)

Working Hours

• 8.30am to 6pm, Mon – Fri
• $2,400 to $2,800 + VB

Job Requirements

• Higher NITEC in IT systems and network / Diploma in Information Technology or IT related qualification.
• 3 years relevant experience in set-up and support IT systems and Network Infrastructure.
• Experience on Avaya Phone System or other relevant phone system would be an advantage.
• Possess good knowledge of Networking and Window server administration, System Security, Active directory, Storage/Backup, virtualization and Disaster Recovery.
• Willing to learn and find out new products and technologies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Positive working attitude with a high level of initiative.
• Familiar with HR, Finance, Administration and Call Centre Operation.
