Job summary
RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Application Officer (Information Systems) to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's information systems, improving operational efficiency and business performance.
Based at Toh Guan Road (Jurong East), the role offers a 5-day work week, 8:30 AM – 5:45 PM, with a salary up to S$4,000 per month plus transport allowance (S$60–S$110), AWS and variable bonus.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Min 2 years of experience in software development or application support.
- Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist the IS Senior Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering IT services.
- Lead or participate in application development and system maintenance projects.
- Develop and maintain business applications following established SDLC practices.
- Perform system analysis, programming, testing, implementation, documentation, user training, and post-implementation support.
- Support the maintenance of IS department QEMS documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and IT solutions to improve business processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company environmental policies and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
- Perform other duties assigned by the IS Senior Manager.
