United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Application Developer (Java & .NET) to analyze, design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications across Java and Microsoft .NET stacks in Singapore.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and project teams to deliver scalable solutions, build RESTful services and UI components, support legacy .NET apps, and contribute to new Java projects with emphasis on quality, testing, and timely delivery.

Application Developer (Java & .NET)

Work Location: Central, Singapore
Job Type: 3 Years Contract, subject to renewal

About the Role

The Application Developer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications across both Java and Microsoft .NET technology stacks. The role involves supporting existing business critical .NET applications while contributing to the development of new solutions built on Java technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, analysts, and project teams to deliver scalable, high quality applications aligned with business and technical requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new application features and components.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications across Java and .NET platforms.
• Build and integrate web services, APIs, modules, and user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Support and enhance existing legacy .NET applications while contributing to new Java based projects.
• Participate actively in project discussions, sprint planning, technical reviews, and development meetings.
• Design, execute, and document unit, integration, and system testing activities to ensure application quality.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions while maintaining coding standards and best practices.
• Perform application troubleshooting, bug fixing, and production support when required.
• Perform other related tasks as when required.

Job Requirements

1. A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Science, IT, Engineering or related field from a recognized university.

• Minimum 4 years of software development experience in object oriented programming.
• Hands on experience in Java application development using technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, JPA/Hibernate, or similar enterprise frameworks.
• Experience working with Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, WCF, or related technologies.
• Experience supporting and enhancing existing .NET based enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of web services, API integration, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Kendo UI, or equivalent component libraries.
• Experience with relational databases including schema design, SQL development, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience in unit testing and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, and software development best practices.
• Understanding of application security, web security principles, and secure coding practices.
• Exposure to SharePoint customization or enterprise collaboration platforms will be an advantage.
• Experience working in environments involving both legacy modernization and new application development will be highly preferred.
