Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore is seeking an Investment Professional to join a leading global asset manager’s Real Estate Investments team. You will lead underwriting, due diligence, structuring, and execution of APAC real estate deals, with a focus on living assets such as multifamily, student housing, and senior living.

You will develop financial models and recommendations for investment committees, manage deal processes end-to-end, and monitor market trends to support capital deployment

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in real estate investments, acquisitions, private equity real estate, or asset management.
• Exposure to living assets including residential, multifamily or student housing.
• Strong track record of executing complex real estate transactions through the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting, due diligence, structuring and execution of real estate investment transactions across APAC.
• Originate and evaluate new opportunities in living asset sectors (residential, multifamily, student housing, senior living).

Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading global asset management firm to appoint an Investment Professional within its Real Estate Investments team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting, due diligence, structuring, and execution of real estate investment transactions across APAC.
• Originate and evaluate new investment opportunities within living asset sectors, including multifamily, student accommodation, senior living, and other residential strategies.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment recommendations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Manage transaction processes from initial screening through to completion, coordinating with legal, tax, financing, and operating partners.
• Monitor market trends, sector dynamics, and portfolio performance to support investment strategy and capital deployment decisions.

Requirements

• At least 10-15 years of experience within real estate investments, acquisitions, private equity real estate, or asset management.
• Prior exposure to living assets, including residential, multifamily, student housing, senior living, or related accommodation sectors.
• Strong track record of executing complex real estate transactions and managing deals through the full investment lifecycle.
• International exposure would be advantageous, whether through education, professional experience, or living abroad.
• Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively within a dynamic investment environment.
