Job summary

Macdonald & Company in Singapore is seeking an Analyst/Associate for a distinguished real estate private equity platform. The role targets rigorous underwriting, market assessment, and active involvement across pan-Asian investments.

You will build financial models, perform due diligence, and interact with asset managers to monitor performance while preparing investor-ready reporting packages. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant real estate or investment experience on buy or sell side.

Responsibilities

Job description We are working with awell established real estate private equity platform based in Singapore to hire a bright, highly motivated and driven Analyst/Associate with an excellent academic background and preferably, previous experience in the real estate sector. The fund managerhas real estate products and funds on both ends of the risk-return spectrum and their investment mandate is Pan Asian, agnostic across asset classes.

What will you do?

• Participate and assist in the underwriting and due diligence of new investments;
• Prepare Investment Committee memorandums and other related presentations to the senior management;
• Interact regularly with the local asset managers across the region to monitor the performance of the investment;
• Develop and maintain financial models that will be used to formulate asset management plans, including strategic positioning and enhancements;
• Participate in portfolio management activities including monitoring and evaluation of the investment and fund level-performance, including preparation of quarterly/annual management report packages;
• Collaborate with other departments to respond to investor queries relating to the fund.
