Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Investment Banking and/or Private Equity experience.
• Real Estate, Infrastructure, M&A, Private Equity or related investment experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Transaction execution experience, ideally with exposure to investments.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to articulate an investment thesis.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to approach unfamiliar investment scenarios thoughtfully.
• Genuine interest in real estate and long-term investing.

Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading global sovereign wealth fund to appoint an Associate to its Real Estate investment team in Singapore. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the world's most respected long-term investors, working across a broad range of real estate investments spanning direct investments, co-investments, funds, credit and secondaries across Asia and global markets.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, conducting financial analysis and due diligence, developing investment theses and supporting portfolio management. The team invests across the capital structure and evaluates complex, cross-border and multi-market opportunities, providing the successful candidate with exposure to a highly diverse and sophisticated investment environment.

Working alongside an experienced and highly regarded investment team, you will gain exposure to complex transactions and interact with leading sponsors, management teams, advisors and co-investors. The role is ideally suited to candidates with prior experience in real estate, private credit, infrastructure, private equity, investment banking or principal investing who possess strong analytical capabilities and, importantly, genuine investment judgement and intellectual curiosity.

The team is particularly interested in candidates who can think beyond transaction execution, assess investment opportunities critically, develop and articulate an investment thesis, challenge assumptions and apply their knowledge to new and unfamiliar situations.

The Candidate
