Position Overview
Cambridge Associates' Investment Operations team in Singapore oversees the execution and oversight of investment decisions for EMEA and APAC clients. The team unifies Transaction Services and Treasury Operations to deliver integrated advisory and discretionary services.
Responsibilities
- Trade Execution & Lifecycle Management: Complete subscription and redemption documentation for funds across Long Only, Hedge Fund, and Private Investments. Follow the full lifecycle of each trade according to defined workflows, ensuring alignment with industry standards and top quality.
- AML/KYC & Risk Management: Facilitate AML/KYC requirements for subscription and redemption transactions in close collaboration with the Client Information Management Team. Identify risks, adjust processes, and implement proactive solutions to optimize operations and mitigate potential risks.
- Client Service & Communication: Monitor client inboxes for actionable correspondence and coordinate communication (e.g., trade execution, corporate actions) between internal teams, investment managers, and clients. Proactively support client objectives and deliver tailored solutions with professionalism.
- Client Data Management & Asset Transfers: Maintain accurate client information with the Portfolio Implementation Management team. Coordinate asset transfers between clients, custodians, and investment managers, maintaining account records throughout.
- Investment Expertise & Market Awareness: Develop and maintain knowledge of investment product types, vehicles, and asset classes, including trade-related complexities. Stay aware of current investment themes and broader industry concepts to support informed decision‑making.
- Technology & Operational Excellence: Master CA’s trading and treasury workflow applications. Utilize internal resources and tools to enhance efficiency, ensuring deliverables meet the highest quality standards through meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Portfolio Implementation Management, Treasury Operations, and broader business teams to monitor client transactions and strengthen cross‑functional processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Participation: Contribute insights and expertise to projects and initiatives that drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement across the team.
- Training & Development: Participate in training others, share knowledge, and suggest improvements to training programs to support team growth.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of related work experience preferred.
- Experience with trade implementation/execution, settlement-related processes, and treasury/cash management advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute with precision.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment while balancing competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in a client servicing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Quick learner who adapts to new challenges.
- Professional, focused, and disciplined work approach.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
