Job summary

CAPGEMINI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Business Analyst to support portfolio management, trading systems, and front-office investment processes within the Portfolio Management & Analytics function.

The role involves working closely with portfolio managers, technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to enhance and support investment management systems and workflows. It includes business analysis, project delivery, testing, production support, and stakeholder management

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
Experience in business analysis, product management, systems implementation, or investment operations environments.
Experience supporting investment management, portfolio management, trading, treasury, capital markets, or asset management functions.
Experience participating in system implementation, enhancement, migration, or transformation projects.
Experience developing test plans and managing testing activities for technology projects.
Experience creating and maintaining business and system documentation.

Responsibilities

Partner with portfolio managers and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate requirements into functional/technical specs and communicate solutions to users.
Collaborate with technology teams, risk, finance, and vendors to design, test, and implement front-office solutions.
Support evaluation, enhancement, and implementation of portfolio management and trading systems.
Develop and execute test plans; coordinate UAT activities; validate requirements and resolve defects.
Review and optimise front-office workflows and support change management initiatives.
Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot front-office processes; ensure data integrity and auditability.
Develop and maintain documents, guides, and procedures; support governance and reporting.
Coordinate project delivery with vendors and manage timelines, risks, and deliverables.
