Job summary

CMC-APAC PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst/Product Owner within the Reserve Management Department to oversee the trading system and applications related to portfolio management and execution.

You will drive enhancements and implementation projects, monitor front-office processes, analyze production issues, write test plans, and coordinate with in-house IT, risk, finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely trade workflows.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business- or IT-related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in asset management or front-office systems.
• Strong ownership mindset and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Adept communicator with ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in cross-functional groups and coordinating with IT, risk and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with portfolio managers to translate business requirements into technical specs and vice versa.
• Design, test and implement processes/tools/systems to support front-office investment workflow.
• Develop and write test plans for system, process and product upgrades; participate in UAT.
• Create and maintain user guides and documentation for front-office tools and systems.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to implement roadmaps and upgrades for front-office workflows.
• Ensure data integrity, security and auditability of front-office processes.
• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot front-office processes in collaboration with IT and service providers.
• Manage vendor and service provider projects, including procurement and related admin tasks.
• Oversee change management for new products/systems and potential workflow re-engineering.
