Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A, Transaction Services or Corporate Finance.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills and ability to work independently on detailed analyses.
• Experience with due diligence and the broader transaction process.
• Ability to prepare concise materials for senior management reviews.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail in a collaborative team.

Investment Associate (Private Equity - Infrastructure)

An established investment firm is looking to hire an Investment Associate to join its Private Equity team in Singapore. The position offers broad exposure across investment evaluation, transaction execution and portfolio activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess prospective investments, including reviewing business models, financial performance, industry dynamics and potential returns.
• Build detailed financial models and undertake valuation and sensitivity analysis to support investment decisions.
• Work on transactions through the various stages of evaluation, due diligence and execution.
• Coordinate financial, commercial, legal and other workstreams alongside external advisers.
• Develop investment analysis and recommendations for discussion with senior members of the team.
• Support the preparation of materials required for internal investment approvals.
• Monitor existing portfolio companies, analysing performance and supporting selected strategic and value-creation initiatives.
• Contribute to the identification and initial assessment of new investment opportunities.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A, Transaction Services or Corporate Finance.
• Prior exposure to executing investments or M&A transactions is strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to work independently on detailed analysis.
• Practical understanding of due diligence and the broader transaction process.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to consider both financial and commercial aspects of an investment.
• Comfortable preparing clear, concise materials for senior-level review and decision-making.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, dependable and able to take ownership within a collaborative investment team.
