Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking a Receiving Officer for its Singapore operations, based at SUSHISAMBA Singapore. The role focuses on accurate receiving of goods, inventory management, and cost-effective procurement support to ensure smooth hotel, restaurant and bar operations.

You will verify deliveries, coordinate with suppliers, maintain records, and conduct periodic stock takes. Hospitality experience and strong communication are highly valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in receiving or storekeeping roles, hospitality preferred.
• Understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Independent and reliable with good organizational habits.
• Able to manage time well and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against POs and docs.
• Ensure correct quantity, quality, and specs on receipt.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries for timely arrival.
• Prepare and review purchase orders and requisitions.
• Maintain inventory and pricing records in systems.
• Conduct monthly/yearly stock counts and reporting.
• Source cost-effective shipping and delivery arrangements.
• Liaise with internal departments to meet needs.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers as needed.
• Perform related duties to support operations.
