Job summary

NTU's Career & Attachment Office seeks an Assistant Manager, Internship to oversee end-to-end internship programme operations and to drive student participation and success. You will manage processes, guide students, and collaborate with host organisations and colleges to optimise placements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to support youth career journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative team player who contributes actively to team success.
• Comfortable with data, systems, managing structured processes and adhering to established policies and administrative frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of internship programmes and internship operations.
• Develop strategies to increase internship opportunities and facilitate student participation.
• Monitor internship progress and address potential issues to support successful placement.
• Provide guidance to students on internship matters.
• Address internship-related issues raised by students or host organisations, including complex case management.
• Engage with colleges/entities to collaborate on managing internship placements and increase student readiness.
• Develop and maintain host organisations to support uptake of students in internships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support students' internship search journey.
• Lead and participate in adhoc projects in operations, data analysis, or communications.
• Adopt and use new technology/systems to improve overall performance and workflows.
