Job summary

Luckin Coffee is seeking a senior operations leader to partner with international franchisees, improve performance, manage risk, and develop talent across markets. The role connects HQ with local franchise teams and adapts management approaches to market maturity.

This on-site, travel-heavy role requires 8+ years in multi-site operations (F&B or retail), experience managing 100+ staff, and strong cross-functional collaboration with HR, supply chain, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in multi-site operations management within large-scale F&B, coffee, retail, or other multi-site businesses, with experience managing teams of 100+ employees and/or overseeing multi-store or multi-market operations.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to independently conduct business reviews, training, and cross-cultural communication. Open to candidates of all nationalities.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience working closely with HR, Business Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, and other functions to drive business initiatives.
  • Highly adaptable and willing to travel extensively, with the ability to work effectively across different countries, time zones, and cultures. Expected to travel internationally for approximately 2 weeks or more per month.

  • Partner with franchisees to develop operating plans, targets, and action plans.
  • Lead regular Business Reviews, track key performance indicators, identify gaps, and drive improvements.
  • Support franchisees in implementing Luckin's operational standards, processes, and management requirements.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews and identify operational, compliance, food safety, and brand risks.
  • Coach local operations teams and follow up on remediation plans.
  • Support franchisees in handling operational incidents and crisis situations when required.
  • Franchisee Capability & Talent Development
  • Partner with franchisee leadership and HR teams on staffing, training, talent assessment, succession, and retention.
  • Identify organizational capability gaps and build sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Support the implementation of Luckin's culture and values across franchise markets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with HR, Business Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to solve market-level challenges.
  • Facilitate HQ resources and support for franchisee markets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in local capabilities and execution.

Role Overview

Partner with international franchisees to improve business performance, operational excellence, risk management, and talent capabilities. This role acts as a key connection between HQ and local franchisee teams, adapting management approaches to different market stages.The role requires the ability to balance business performance, operational health, risk management, and talent development according to market maturity.
