Job summary

Vanguard Software Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an IT Manager to operate and mature its internal IT function.

The role balances hands-on support with building a scalable internal IT operating model, including ownership of employee IT support, identity and access administration, device management, SaaS administration, on‑premise servers, and vendor coordination. You will drive secure access, incident readiness, and technology spend transparency while reporting to leadership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT operations experience, including at least 3 years running production on-premise servers and virtualised environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day internal IT support for employees, including devices, accounts, collaboration tools, access requests, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Establish and manage a single IT intake process, service catalogue, escalation path, and support workflow.
• Define, monitor, and improve service targets for common employee IT requests.
• Standardize onboarding, offboarding, and role-change processes for employees, contractors, and other approved users.
• Maintain records of users, devices, systems, administrators, vendors, contracts, renewals, and critical dependencies with named owners.
• Improve employee technology experience by reducing repeated issues and delays.
• Own identity and access administration across core company systems.
• Enforce MFA and minimum access-control standards for priority systems.
• Coordinate regular access reviews with business system owners and leadership.
• Own day-to-day operation of on-premise host servers and VM lifecycle.
• Plan capacity, hardware refresh, backup, restoration, and recovery arrangements.
