Job summary

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to learn and apply internal audit standards while assisting in assessing the internal audit function using data analytics.

You will contribute to audits with testing scripts, help develop GenAI tooling to improve audit efficiency, and support process reviews, documentation updates, and quality assurance activities to align with global standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI.
• Programming knowledge (SAS, Python, SQL) and prior audit/analytics experience preferred but not essential.
• Internship Duration: Minimally 3 months (Nov 2026 onwards).

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits using data analytics tools and testing scripts.
• Assist in developing and testing GenAI tools to enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency.
