Job summary

NTUC Health is offering a Risk Management and Data Protection Intern position in Singapore. You will support risk assessment, incident logging, insurance claim data, and BCP/BCP exercises within a healthcare setting.

You will also assist Data Governance activities, data inventory mapping, policy updates, and PDPA awareness materials. This role provides practical exposure to governance, regulatory frameworks, and incident management processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accountancy, Business Administration, IT, Data Science, Risk Management, or equivalent.
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in risk management, compliance, data protection, or incident management.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Risk Management activities: prepare risk assessment reports, document incidents, support insurance claim data, and track incident resolution progress.
• Support Data Governance tasks: help create data inventory maps, update policies, and prepare materials for governance meetings.
• Contribute to PDPA awareness efforts, including case studies and annual quizzes for data protection training.
• Gain exposure to BCM/BCP practices, incident reporting portals, and regulatory frameworks relevant to healthcare.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk Management and Data Protection Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across critical areas, including Business Continuity Management, Incident Management & Insurance Claims, Data Governance & PDPA, and Enterprise Risk Management. The intern will provide essential support to various initiatives, contributing to the organisation's resilience, compliance, and responsible data stewardship.

Risk Management:

• Support the preparation of risk assessment reports and presentation materials.
• Assist in documenting incident reports and maintaining accurate incident logs.
• Support the compilation of information required for insurance claims.
• Help track the status of incident resolution and claims progression.
• Support in system enhancement for incident reporting portal (ServiceNow)
• Assist in the review and update of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) documentation.
• Support the coordination and logistics for BCP exercises and training sessions for BC Coordinators.
• Help compile and organise BCM-related data and reports.

Data Governance:

• Support the development of data inventory maps and data flow documentation.
• Support the update of Data Governance-related policies.
• Assist in preparing materials for the Data Governance Committee meetings.
• Contribute to the preparation of PDPA awareness materials, such as the annual quiz and relevant case studies (non-compliance due to people, process, and third-party breaches).
• Support for system enhancement for data breach incidents on the incident reporting portal.

Qualifications
