Job summary

NTUC Health Co-operative Limited is seeking a motivated Risk Management and Data Protection Intern to gain hands-on experience across Enterprise Risk Management, Data Governance, PDPA, and related areas within a healthcare setting.

You will support risk assessment reports, incident logging, insurance claim information, and the development of data governance artifacts while working closely with experienced professionals to build practical skills and contribute to ongoing organisational resilience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and maintaining good academic performance.
• Interested in risk management, compliance, data protection, or incident management.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work with little supervision and as a team.
• Basic familiarity with platform configuration, ticket management, and workflow customization would be a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of risk assessment reports and presentation materials.
• Document incident reports and maintain accurate incident logs.
• Compile information required for insurance claims.
• Track the status of incident resolution and claims progression.
• Assist in implementation of Enterprise Risk Management Framework solutions.
• Assist in enhancing Workplace Health & Safety policies.
• Develop data inventory maps and data flow documentation.
• Update Data Governance-related policies.
• Prepare materials for Data Governance Committee meetings.
• Support shaping organisational workflows to enhance Data Governance.
• Provide PDPA and Data Governance training within the organisation.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of risk, compliance, and data protection functions.
• Understand key regulatory frameworks (PDPA, HIA, etc.) and best practices.
• Enhance analytical, research, organisational, presentation, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with professionals on meaningful organisational initiatives.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk Management and Data Protection Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across critical areas in the health & eldercare industry, including Enterprise Risk Management, Incident Management & Insurance Claims, Data Governance & PDPA, and Organisational Development. The intern will provide essential support to various initiatives, contributing to the organisation's resilience, compliance, and responsible data stewardship.
