Job summary

SATS Ltd. is seeking an Intern for Ramp Operations Safety and Planning to learn and support the ramp team in Singapore. You will undergo comprehensive training in ramp operations and help manage trainer schedules while ensuring staff confidence and compliance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments. You will participate in safety checks and improvement initiatives as part of a dynamic aviation support network.

Responsibilities

Undergo training in ramp operations (headset, driving, PLB) as a standby officer.
Manage training schedule of trainers and ensure staff are confident before checkout.
Conduct audits on the ground to ensure SOPs followed and PPE worn.
Conduct equipment checks to ensure safety.
Liaise with departments to carry out incident investigations for GM and clients and follow up with corrective actions.
Assist in ramp-related digitalisation projects (Realtime, G-ops, way-to-go).
Forward planning of resources and dynamic management of daily resources to support Senior Executive, Ramp operations.

Key Responsibilities

To undergo training in ramp operations (such as headset, driving, PLB operation) as a standby officer
To manage training schedule of the trainers and ensure all staff are confident before checking out of the training modules.
Conduct audits on the ground to ensure staff follow SOP and wear safety PPE at all times
Conduct equipment checks to ensure they are safe for use
To liaise with various departments and staff involved to carry out incident investigations for submission to the General Manager and clients and follow up with corrective action plans
To assist in ramp related digitalisation project (e.g. Realtime, G-ops, way-to-go, etc)
Forward planning of resources and dynamic management of daily resourcesTo support Senior Executive, Ramp operations in any other related work
