Job summary

SATS Ltd. invites an Intern, Operations (Aviation Catering) to join SATSCAT production in Singapore. You will assist the team in coordinating and supervising all aspects of food production under inflight catering, with emphasis on safety, hygiene and adherence to SOPs.

You will help generate data, review discrepancies and trends, and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders. This internship offers exposure to global aviation catering operations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a relevant degree or internship program.
• Willingness to learn and support operations in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic data interpretation and reporting skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist production team in coordinating daily inflight catering activities.
• Support safety and hygiene compliance in the production area.
• Help allocate flights and manpower data in the system.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and management as needed.
• Maintain kitchen and surrounding areas to company standards.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

As an intern in the Production of SATSCAT, you will assist the team in the coordination, supervision and directing all aspects of the food production area under inflight catering not limiting to the below:

• 1) Drive and place safety and hygiene as key competency within the department
• 2) Establish and ensure full compliance to operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.
• 3). Assist with data generation and analysis such as allocation of flights and manpower in system, review of discrepancies, data and trends.
• 4) Assure proper communication and represent the company management team
• 5) Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
• 6) Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your reporting officer

• 2. Keen in data interpretation and analysis, to monitor and identify trends
• 3. Comfortable to engage stakeholders as required
