Responsibilities

• Support the documentation and implementation of inventory storage improvements.
• Review and standardise material identification and labeling, including new material numbers.
• Assist in reorganising spare parts and storage locations for better accessibility.
• Review store layout and arrangement of spare parts to optimise space and accessibility.
• Support in reviewing existing inventory processes to identify improvement areas.
• Assist in store revamp by updating storage locations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you are required to:
1. Support the documentation and implementation of improved inventory storage, tracking and retrieval processes.
2. Review and standardise material identification and labelling, including the assignment of new material numbers where required.
3. Support the development and implementation of an improved inventory storage system, including the reorganisation of spare parts and storage locations.
4. Assist in reviewing the current store layout and arrangement of spare parts to improve accessibility and space utilisation.
5. Assist in reviewing existing inventory storage, tracking and retrieval processes to identify areas for improvement.
6. Support the reorganisation of spare parts and updating of storage locations as part of the store revamp.

Key Requirements

You are best equipped for this role if you have:
1. Problem-Solving – Able to identify issues and suggest practical improvements to inventory processes.
2. Process Improvement – Interested in finding ways to make material retrieval and storage more efficient.
3. Teamwork – Able to work with supervisors and team members to support store improvement activities.
4. Attention to Detail – Able to accurately label materials and maintain organised inventory records.
5. Data Management – Comfortable updating material numbers, inventory information and storage locations.
6. Learning Agility – Willing and able to quickly learn inventory systems, procedures and workplace requirements.
